Poem has not been my favorite in my reading library, but this one has great attraction, so well composed, moving, soulful and awesome. Will any classmate volunteer to have this translated into English and Vietnamese?

ReplyDelete這首平易近人的詩,讀了讓我感慨萬千.如果你有機會再見這位長輩,請告訴她,事情會有轉機的. 我的母親曾經經歷過類似的遭遇,但老天有眼,我父親是個浪子回頭,真是金不換. 現在倆老以弄孫為樂; 以環世界為目標, 而且正在進行中!

Bừa thơ ni người mô diết hết sảy, thiệt là qúa tuỵệt. Ngộ có thể dịch bừa ni sang Diệt Den tiếng Quảng nôm. Nị 問影子是否接受. Ngộ sẽ không lồm hư bừa mô. Núa hén yên trí đi. Bổ đổm tram phần tram.

好巧,我正在翻譯影子的詩篇,譯了三分之一,很難連下去,剛好看到籃球的comment,還是籃球來翻譯好了,看起來他的越文比我好太多了,譯完之後,可以post出來參考嗎?

我建議你/妳不要再來那套「喝虎肉湯」類似笑話。 你上次的回響, 我知道是玩笑, 可是我却被投訴為何沒過濾。 足球甚至還建議我下台。 也許足球的話不是笑話, 而是忠言。 如果沒差錯, 我就職公司會批准我的申請在匕月左右提早退休。 到時這份站長位置也讓給娘子軍來接手。 目前已有四位老同学在實習, 到那時應該可以應付。 我會在募後支持一段時間。 以後技術上若有問題, 我會繼續幫助。

ReplyDeleteYou misunderstood my message. To receive a dinner from me, the fellow has to translate our teacher Phung's poems also into Vietnamese with Northern, Central, Southern accents and a grammatically correct traditional Vietnamese language, in addition to identity revelation.
I believe the fellow will accept my challenge although real identity may not be revealed.
As for you, Shadow, I will buy you two dinners if you just let us know who you are. Haha...you asked for it..

A shadow is a shadow, when you look at the shadow, and you want to know who it is, just follow the trail, than you definitely can see the real person, No? Please don’t trick poor me, I’m not good at playing games. Actually, I feel like translate this poem also, it seems like a huge challenge!

ReplyDelete等待了好幾個星期都沒看到筆名游泳,籃球,小兵,阿四,或其他老同學幫忙翻成英文版。看样子沒有人願意給我請客,而我又沒有翻譯外語經驗,中、越、英語全都是「半桶水」。不過,即然此網站是屬於我們的樂園,我就冒險試一試我的「水皮」外語讓老同学了解我的「空洞」早點要我辭掉站長職位,好讓娘子軍才接手。
以下翻譯有经過原詩作者過目與同意:
Desolation
This is her home
They are her children
Here is her man supposedly dependable for life
Home so desolate
Not a single soul
What led to desolation
Intercepted by colorful wild flowers and grass from the other side of the fence
Or the unchanged depressing mood inside the home fails to keep the human heart
Outside the window flakes of snow spread idly all over
The scene resembles an angel strolling along the cloud edges
Steadily floating toward her way
This painting was once the couple’s favorite
